are available to monitor parasite burdens in your horse.
There are two types of test available
from your veterinary surgeon:
• Faecal Worm
Egg Counts (FWEC)
• Tapeworm
Antibody Tests
These tests are a useful tool to measure
the effectiveness of your worming programme, parasite status
of new horses, and also to identify and treat just those horses
with a significant worm burden – known as strategic
worming. |
